Performance Cruiser

This yacht was designed as a Sayer C - 116 Performance Cruiser.  The client requested a yacht that would perform well in club races as well as being suitable for extended ocean cruising.  The hull, a Western Red Cedar sandwich construction, and the interior, was built by the owner, with regular supervision by Jon  Sayer.  The owner commissioned Jon Sayer and his team to build a moulded foam deck and subsequently finish off the yacht through to launching.
