True Blue (David Adams)

1st - Class 2 BOC Challenge 1995

  True Blue was built on a male jig with a Western Red Cedar core, sandwiched between Kevlar and "E" glass stitched fabrics using FGI 180 series epoxy resins. The deck was done on a stringer female jig mould from Klegecell foam. This yacht was medium budget in hull construction with saved funds used for a carbon rig and valuable sail wardrobe.
